The announcement which was made at MultiChoice Head Office in Kololo will enable SolarNow agents to distribute MultiChoice hardware for both DStv and GOtvat their points of sale and also allow Ugandan television viewers the convenience and flexibility of watching television. While making his comments in a press statement, Charles Hamya, the General Manager MultiChoice Uganda stated that, “This partnership comes at a time when MultiChoice is preparing to embark on the second phase of the digital migration process. To expedite the transition from analogue to digital, our accessories must be readily and easily accessible for our customers, a platform that SolarNow will provide.” He continued, “SolarNow has a well –developed distribution network of over 30 branches in Uganda, which will enable our retail penetration for actual hardware increase by bringing our products and services closer to our customers”. “We believe that our partnership with Solar Now will not only solve accessibility problems but also customer service requests through the customer interactive points at selected SolarNow dealer shops country wide to enhance customer assistance and service delivery.” Charles emphasized.
